Dennis Frederiksen

Dennis Frederiksen (1951-2022) was an American singer-songwriter known primarily for his contributions to rock and pop music. He gained prominence in the late 1970s and 1980s, particularly for his work with the band Trillion and later as a vocalist for the legendary band Toto. Frederiksen's distinctive voice and songwriting skills were showcased on Toto's 1988 album "The Seventh One," where he contributed to several tracks, including "Stranger in Town." Frederiksen also had a successful solo career, releasing albums such as "Dennis" (1983) and "Beyond the Sun" (2014), which demonstrated his range as an artist. His ability to blend melodic rock with elements of AOR (Album-Oriented Rock) helped influence the genre's evolution during the 1980s. In addition to his work with Toto, Frederiksen collaborated with various artists, including Jim Peterik of Survivor and members of the band Angel.
